The LVM International Art Foundation Bora Bora was founded by Damien Dovio-Rinaldi and his wife Vai from a shared belief that true luxury is found in exceptional experiences and in the ability to give back, uplift others, and create meaningful and lasting impact.
Built upon a lifelong commitment to philanthropy, cultural appreciation, and social responsibility, the Foundation was created as a mission-driven non-profit organisation dedicated to humanitarian support, artistic development, environmental stewardship, and community enrichment. It exists as an invitation for all to become involved in a shared purpose — uniting people through collective giving and positive action for the benefit of future generations.
Our Mission & Purpose
Our Bora Bora mission is centered on preserving cultural heritage, supporting humanitarian causes, fostering artistic development, and protecting one of the world’s most unique natural environments through meaningful, community-led giving. The Foundation was established to identify and respond to local needs while creating sustainable and beneficial opportunities that support individuals, communities, and causes requiring care and attention.

Our Story
Since 2002, Damien and Vai have proudly owned and operated La Villa Mahana, one of Bora Bora’s most distinctive and exclusive destinations for exceptional dining experiences. Throughout the years, they have created far more than a restaurant; they have cultivated an environment where art, culture, creativity, and human connection coexist.
Through their philanthropic care and dedication to supporting artistic expression, they have welcomed and encouraged local and international artists, creating opportunities for talent cultivation, artistic development, and cultural exchange. Many artists supported along their journey have gone on to achieve broader recognition, helping establish a reputation built upon generosity, authenticity, and cultural appreciation.
The restaurant itself became a living expression of this vision — an immersive environment where art and experience merge to create a world of inspiration, beauty, and discovery.
Today, this long-standing commitment has evolved into a broader purpose through the creation of the Foundation.
